FAQs about KSBA Annual Conference

The KSBA Annual Conference is one of the most well-established and well-attended conferences for educational services decision-makers in Kentucky. More than 1,000 school board members, superintendents and administrators attend this two-day event held annually at the Galt House in Louisville, Ky.
 
The Basics
  1. Exhibit booths sell out quickly and available space is limited. To ensure you are receive notification, please sign up for our exhibitor and sponsor email list or email us to discuss a yearlong KSBA affiliate membership. 
  2. Non-KSBA members are only eligible to attend the conference as exhibitors, presenters or sponsors. Vendors and nonprofit partners who attempt to register as attendees will be directed to exhibitor and sponsor opportunities.
  3. Only providers of education services and nonprofit partners are eligible to register as exhibitors or sponsors.
  4. There is no dedicated bookstore at the KSBA annual conference. The sale of products onsite is not permitted during the conference.

Q: How can my organization get a booth in the hallway adjoining the ballroom? 

A:  KSBA offers four opportunities for ultra-premium booth space; those are reserved for conference sponsors at the highest level. President’s and Gold level conference sponsorships include sponsorship of general sessions and ultra-premium booth space. Explore the full benefits of these sponsorships here. 

Q: How can my organization get a premium booth space in the exhibit area? 

A: Premium booth space is offered first to KSBA Affiliate members at the President’s, Gold and Silver levels. Space is also reserved for Silver level conference sponsors. If available, spaces are then assigned to Bronze level affiliate sponsors and conference sponsors. Affiliate member information for the 2017-18 year is available here. 

Q: How are general booth spaces assigned? 

A:  General booth spaces are assigned based on the order of registration. KSBA works to accommodate all requests, but due to space limitations, requests for specific booths or the separation of competitive services may not be feasible. 

Q: Can exhibitors attend conference sessions? 

A: Exhibitors are welcome to attend conference sessions as space allows. Please be mindful of the fact that board members in attendance earn required credit for specific sessions, so members receive priority in sessions.
