Member Support Services / Communications

KSBA’s Member Support / Communications Services are designed to ensure that school board members, superintendents and education advocates have ready access to factual information about Kentucky K-12 education issues. The service also works to get information about local issues quickly and accurately to key association staff members.

  • Training in communications skills areas through conference workshops and onsite in districts.
  • School/Community Relations Today - a subscription service to aid district print and online publications with timely features and tip sheets.
  • It's A Date Educator Calendar Service (subscription) puts hundreds of education-related dates with online resource material at the fingertips of teachers and administrators

VITAL STATISTICS

  • In 2017, more than 3,900 school leaders were being kept abreast through the daily eNews Service, providing links to more than 120 school news stories per week.
  • Kentucky School Advocate magazine annually has stories and insights from around 100 Kentucky districts, reaching 2,600 readers 10 months in print, 11 months online.
