Two weeks remain to honor superintendent, board member, ed boosters at 2007 KSBA conference

Last year, the spotlight fell on Marion County Superintendent Roger Marcum, former Fayette County Board of Education member Kathy Lousignont, the CEO of a Barren County bank and a financial institution in Whitley County.

This year, those worthy of attention for their leadership and backing of public education in Kentucky are depending on you.  The Nov. 15 deadline is fast approaching for nominations to recognize people and companies that have supported Kentucky school systems as well as the state's top school board member and superintendent.

Nominations for the Warren Proudfoot Outstanding School Board Member Award go to the sponsoring Kentucky PTA.  KSBA will accept nominations for the F. L. Dupree Outstanding Superintendent Award and the KSBA Friend of Education Awards (to one individual and one company or organization).
