Invitation to take part in 2nd annual "Kids Safe Online" event

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, the Commonwealth Office of Technology is inviting educators, parents and especially Kentucky's elementary students, to take part in a national Webcast, "Kids Safe Online."

The event will feature an interactive play geared for fourth- and fifth-graders, and will cover such subjects as:

• Learning how cyberspace works

• Why you shouldn't share private information

• How to keep passwords safe

• Feeling comfortable in cyberspace

• Practicing good cyberspace manners

The play will use content from the i-SAFE organization and will be performed by members of the Plays for Living nonprofit group.
