KSBA Fall Regional Meetings
Here is the final schedule of the 2006 KSBA
Fall Regional Meetings, including specific sites and hospitality and
meal times.
Two programs will be featured at this year's
meetings. Attendees at the Central Kentucky, Fifth, Northern
Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky South, Upper Kentucky River, Upper
Cumberland, Second and First regional meetings will take part in
sessions devoted to implementation of Senate Bill 130 and the new law's
requirements regarding student preparation for college and/or the job
market.
Board members and superintendents attending
the Fourth, Eastern Kentucky South and Third regions will get
information about what's taking place in America's cutting edge high
schools in a session led by Dr. Jim Causby of the International Center
for Leadership Education.
Elections for new regional chairpersons will
be conducted at the Northern Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky South, Middle
Cumberland, Fourth, Upper Cumberland and Second region meetings.
Board members and superintendents may
register with the superintendent's office of the hosting district listed
below. Numbers 1 and 2 denote program content, with 1 being SB 130
and 2 being Dr. Causby. Asterisk denotes an election site.
