KSBA seeking applicants for training specialist to work in board development in the GRREC region

KSBA is partnering with a regional education cooperative to use some federal Race to the Top funding to enhance local school board member training. And the ideal candidate would be a current or former board of education member.

The individual selected for this position will be involved in delivering board member training in the 37 districts that are members of the Bowling Green-based Green River Regional Educational Cooperative. The project coordinator will travel to provide local training in cooperation with KSBA's Board Team Development Service.

Job requirements include experience in developing instruction and curriculum, in working with diverse stakeholders and in a grant-funded program, and in training and facilitation. A bachelor’s degree is required. The position involves a 25-30 hour work week and includes employee benefits.
