Oct. 14 is the deadline for schools and districts to submit a proposal for the agenda of the 76thKSBA annual conference, Feb. 3-5, 2012 in Louisville.
The calls for workshop proposals and student group performances have been mailed to districts, and are also available online here http://ksba.org/AnnualConference.aspx. The documents also may be accessed on the KSBA website’s home page under Important Bookmarks.
The KSBA conference includes nearly three-dozen clinics Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4. Two formats are available: shorter informational workshops and longer, interactive, skills-building seminars (the latter are on Friday morning).
Performances by students are a popular part of the KSBA conference, whether they are musical or dramatic in nature. This option includes the well-attended Sunday morning, nondenominational devotional.
