Presenters sought for state's Coordinated School Health Institute in June

The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky is seeking presenters to discuss how their school or district has implemented or is in the process of implementing a policy related to any of the following components of Coordinated School Health for sessions at its conference June 29 at the Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington:

-Health education curricula (any evidence-based curricula)
-Physical education or physical activity practices or curricula (i.e.: SPARK, Take10, CATCHPE, etc. before, during or after school)
-Worksite wellness for teachers and staff
-Involvement of families or community members in the health of the school
-Healthy school environment (air quality, safety — including bullying, safe cleaning products, etc.)
-Nutrition services (farm-to-school program, school garden, restrictions on class treats, only healthy snacks for class parties, etc.)
-Health services (school nurse, school-based health center, dental health services, etc.)
-Counseling and social services (mental health services delivered at school or referrals, social services available through the school, etc.)
