New KSBA board/superintendent training tied to understanding Instructional Program Reviews

The fourth module in the KSBA Unbridled Learning series exploring the new Kentucky assessment and accountability system is now available as a topic for training in your district.

In this 75-minute session, board/superintendent teams will learn more about program reviews – the process, rubrics, evidence, and classifications for schools and districts. Through the leadership roles of the board, you will explore what board members need to know and do as they develop talking points to educate their community on this new accountability system.

The other modules in the Unbridled Learning series include:  All Students College- and/or Career- Ready, Assessment for Next-Generation Learners, and Accountability for All.  Although the first module is a great place to start, sessions may be requested in the order that is most beneficial to your district.

Members of the KSBA staff and Training Cadre are available to facilitate this new session, the other Unbridled Learning sessions or any of our KSBA training modules on site in your district. The training fee of $187.50 per session plus travel expenses of the trainer includes handouts and materials for the board/superintendent team participants as well as credit toward the annual training requirement for board members.
