Kentucky Educational Television (KET) now offers live Web streaming of more daily sessions of the Kentucky legislature.
Two channels typically offer coverage of House and Senate committee meetings between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily, followed by the full sessions of both chambers of the legislature starting around 2 p.m. ET. The links are here http://www.ket.org/legislature/.
Additionally, KET has created a “KET Legislative Coverage” application. If you have an iPhone or iPad, go to the Apple App Store and search for “KET Legislative Coverage” and download the app.
KET also offers nightly wrap-up reports on each day’s major developments at 11 p.m. ET. Those programs are also available online here http://www.ket.org/legislature/highlights/
Tonight, Jan. 21, KET will carry Gov. Steve Beshear’s budget address to the legislature live at 7 p.m. ET.
