KSBA, in partnership with the Kentucky School Public Relations Association, has issued a Call for Entries in the 20th annual OASIS (Outstanding Achievement in School Information Services) professional development program.
OASIS is an opportunity for Kentucky public school districts to have their communications tools – websites, videos, parent letters, newsletters, photos, social media, engagement initiatives, news releases and more – reviewed by two-person panels of judges in the field of K-12 communications. Judges offer commentary and commendations for each entry. The “best of the best” will be recognized at the KYSPRA annual professional development conference in November in Owensboro.
This year, KSBA has added a new recognition for innovative communications programs or products. That’s in addition to the coveted KSBA Sweepstakes Awards given to four districts with the highest average scoring for all submitted entries. Those awards are to be presented at the recipient’s local school board meetings.
