Student group sought to lead Sunday devotional at KSBA Annual Conference; Call for Presentations deadline extended to Nov. 11

KSBA’s 81st annual conference is Feb. 24-26 in Louisville, and conference planners are keeping the call for participants open a bit longer.

Most of the student presentation opportunities have been filled, but one – a group to lead the nondenominational Sunday morning devotional – remains to be filled. District officials interested in more information are encouraged to contact Kerri Schelling directly [email protected] or 800-372-2962.

Meanwhile, the Call for Presentations is being extended until Nov. 11. The conference offers two types of opportunities for presentations: a 75-minute clinic on Friday or Saturday or a three-hour pre-conference workshop on Friday morning. All presentations should consider school board members are the primary audience, but topical issues can range from effective district operations and innovative classroom programs to leadership initiatives and unique solutions to common challenges for Kentucky’s public schools.

The proposal forms and guidelines are all available online here.

Complete and send the attached form to Schelling at KSBA, 260 Democrat Drive, Frankfort, KY 40601 or email the proposal to her at
