KASS Winter Conference to include new education commissioner, full day of leadership development Dec. 6-8 in Louisville

New Kentucky Education Commissioner Dr. Stephen Pruitt is the opening keynote speaker for the winter conference of the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents. Registration for the conference – Dec. 6-8 at the Louisville Marriott East – is now open online here.

The Monday KASS agenda is devoted to the work of the Kentucky Superintendents’ Network with morning and afternoon seminars focusing on enhancing district leadership. These discussions will be facilitated by Diane Egbers and Karen Schenck of Leadership Excelleration, Inc. of Cincinnati, which provides training in leadership development, coaching and organizational effectiveness. Egbers holds a master’s degree in executive human resources development from Xavier University and a bachelor’s degree in personnel and industrial relations from the University of Cincinnati. Schenck holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University.

Tuesday morning, KASS will announce the 2016 Superintendent of the Year honoree, and conference attendees will hear updates from KSBA and other partner organizations.
