The last of a series of four special seminars about dealing with the ongoing threats of violence targeting schools will be this Friday, Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon CT at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park in Gilbertsville.
The seminar by the Kentucky Center for School Safety will feature training by Kentucky law enforcement officers and federal ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) personnel with the focus on information school administrators can use in dealing with threat situations, including paper notes left in schools, anonymous calls and social media posts.
There is no cost for this seminar, but advance administration is important. To register, click here. If you are prompted to choose a “payment” method, just type in Free.
