Mercer Spring MAP Schedule

The final administration of the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) test for Reading and Mathematics for Mercer students in Kindergarten through Fourth grade began on Tuesday, May 7. Data gathered is used to help facilitate instruction and ensure differentiation takes place within the classroom. This computerized test is adaptive to student learning. If a question is answered correctly, the next is more challenging. Incorrect answers make the following one easier. MAP is administered three times during the academic year. The Fall assessment gathered baseline, the Winter assessment measured progress and this Spring assessment will measure the student’s growth to that point. You can see the schedule here. Please be certain your child gets plenty of rest, eats a nutritious breakfast and does their best on days when testing is taking place.
