Do your managers of classified personnel understand legal basics concerning supervision? Do they have a basic understanding of actions that may land them and your district in legal hot water? Join KSBA’s experienced attorneys and policy staff in a day devoted to legal and effective management practices. We will discuss evaluation, investigation and discipline of classified staff. We will provide basic information about the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), freedom of speech issues, gender nonconforming behavior and more.
