Internal, external communications training offered at annual professional development event of Kentucky School Public Relations Association

Social media, community event planning, communications at board meetings and more are on the agenda for the annual fall professional development conference of the Kentucky School Public Relations Association (KYSPRA).

The sessions will be held Nov. 13-14 at the Embassy Suites in Lexington. Presenters will include school communications professionals from Graves County, Jefferson County, Union County, KSBA and a panel of journalists on media/school relations on Friday at noon.

The conference will conclude with the annual OASIS (Outstanding Achievement in School Information Services) Professional Development Program Awards Luncheon. The program is sponsored jointly by KYSPRA and KSBA.

Registration options include the full conference ($180 for KYSPRA members/$215 for nonmembers), one-day ($100/$130) or the OASIS luncheon only ($40).
