Boone Co., Ohio Co. teams to share stage with U.S. ed chief at KDE productivity conference

Agenda set for Nov. 10 event in Louisville

The Kentucky Department of Education has released the program for its Nov. 10, "Kentucky Improving Schools and Districts Productivity Conference."

In addition to the previously-announced address by U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan, other sessions will include: 

  • Best practices in improving productivity by staff from the Boone County and Ohio County school systems
  • Dr. Michael Perich, a consultant with the Montgomery County (N.C.) Public Schools, a 2010 Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award recipient
  • Dr. Jack Grayson, founder of the American Productivity and Quality Center of Houston, Tx.

 The sessions at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville open at 9 a.m.. The conference is scheduled to close by 4 p.m.
