NSBA seeks presentations from school districts for 2012 national conference in Boston, Mass.

It’s time to begin planning for NSBA’s next annual conference, April 21-23, 2012 in Boston, Mass.

We are calling for proposals from school districts and other organizations for high-quality, 75-minute breakout sessions that focus on topics of critical interest to school board members from all across the country. Our conference attendees are seeking information and skills to help them govern and lead more effectively in the fast-moving world of K-12 education.

If you are interested in having a program or presentation from your school district or organization considered for the 72nd Annual Conference, please read this page carefully and submit your proposal online by 5 p.m. ET on June 1. We will consider only proposals submitted through the online process.

Share the Success Workshops


75-minute presentations showcasing highly successful programs at work in school districts of every size around the country. These proposals must be for programs or projects that include the direct involvement of your school board.

Meet the Experts Workshops

75-minute presentations that provide conference attendees with the opportunity to learn from groups and/or individuals who are not directly associated with a particular school district or are a potential sponsor or exhibiting company, but have information to share that is of vital interest to school board members/educational leaders.

Vendor Expert Sessions

75-minute presentations given by companies currently (or potentially) exhibiting or sponsoring at the 2012 NSBA Annual Conference. These sessions are educational in nature and must not contain promotional material regarding the company or its products. Exhibitor/sponsor status will be confirmed during the review process
