Guaranteed registration for KDE productivity sessions ends Friday

This Friday, Sept. 30 is the last day for district teams to register for a guaranteed slot in the Department of Education’s one-day conference on increasing the operational productivity of schools and districts.

The “Improving Productivity” conference will be Nov. 10 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Louisville. The focus of the event is to enable districts to share ideas and solutions for enhancing the use of limited resources to support teaching and learning. U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan will be the keynote speaker. The conference is being planned in cooperation with the Kentucky Center for Performance Excellence, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, KSBA, the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents and the Kentucky Association of School Administrators.

On Oct. 1, the conference registration will be opened to other individuals and organizations. The final cutoff date for registration is Oct. 15.

The registration fee of $200 per team of three includes lunch. The individual registration cost is $75 per person.
