Updated KSBA board member leadership guide now available online
The recently updated KSBA School Board Leadership Guide is now available as an online resource for Kentucky’s 800-plus local board of education members.
The new guide was provided in the packets of all attendees at this year’s KSBA annual conference. A hard copy also is sent to each newly appointed board member. Additional print copies are available for districts at a cost of $10 each.
But the online version has everything school board members will need at their fingertips in a searchable PDF format. Members can access the online "Leadership Guide" below.
Board members also can attain – once during their career – a 2.5-hour credit toward annual training hours by completing and returning the attached form.
Board members are advised to check their training reports – sent by KSBA in March – to see if they have received their one-time credit for studying the guide.
