The Kentucky Educational Television Network (KET) will air an hour-long look at the creation of a new system for measuring educator performance this month as part of its Education Matters series.
According to a KET webpost, the program, Teacher Professional Growth and Effectiveness, explores how the new statewide Professional Growth and Effectiveness System helps Kentucky teachers improve their professional practice.
The show includes video visits to Marshall and Boone counties to see how schools are implementing the new system.
The initial broadcast of the program will be Monday, April 28 at 9 p.m. ET on the main KET channel.
Subsequent airings of the program will be as follows on the KET KY channel:
• Tuesday, April 29 at 2:00 pm EDT
• Wednesday, April 30 at 1:00 am EDT
• Thursday, May 1 at 9:00 am EDT
• Friday, May 2 at 3:00 pm EDT
