The Green River Regional Educational Cooperative is inviting eduators outside the co-op's membership to join in two days of training on the state's new teacher and principal evaluation system, PGES.
The sessions will be July 24-25 at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green. Ten seminars will be offered covering such areas as student growth goals, professional growht plans, setting working condition goals, performance standards, student growth focused on math, science, social studies and non-tested subjects, special education, national board certification, the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program and more.
The cost is $199 per person for personnel from non-GRREC districts and the registration deadline is July 11. A block of rooms for overnight lodging is available at the Holiday Inn University, which is attached to the Sloan Center.
