Calling all Wonder Women and Supermen for superintendents’ assistants meeting at KSBA conference

From the KSBA policy service staff

Attention all you Wonder Women and Supermen who keep your districts from exploding like Krypton! We want you to bring your superpowers to the Kentucky Organization of Superintendents’ Administrative Assistants (KOSAA) Winter Meeting at the Galt House in Louisville on Feb. 27.

Members will use the “Power of the Past and Force of the Future” to spin webs, uncover truths, and save their districts from potential villains such as the Time Stealer, the Angry Person and Bad, Bad Board Meetings. Superheroes and their various superpowers come in many different forms such as Captain Jargon, The Peacemaker, Agent Diplomacy, Confidence Booster, Flash Organizer and Dr. Multitasker. Members may or may not wear their capes or utility belts; however, masks will be provided.

KOSAA meets in conjunction with the KSBA Annual Conference and in July during KSBA’s Summer Leadership Institute. KOSAA, which was established in January 2006, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. Membership is open to all professional administrative assistants and secretaries assigned to serve the superintendent, executive director, deputy/assistant superintendent, other central office administrator or board of education of a public school district or educational agency.

If your district’s superintendent’s administrative assistant is not currently a member, email Kim Barker ([email protected]), Garnett Thurman ([email protected]) or Katrina Kinman ([email protected]) or call 800-372-2962 for details on how to join.
