Will your district’s student artwork be on display for up to 1,000 visitors at the 2015 KSBA annual conference next month?

Don’t wait until the last minute and strain the backs of poor U.S. postal workers with a rush to get your student-designed banners for display at this year’s KSBA annual conference.

Banners depicting the conference theme “Kentucky Public Schools: The Courage To Lead” need to be received at KSBA’s Frankfort offices by Tuesday, Feb. 24 to ensure they are checked for meeting the rules, packed and delivered to Louisville to be on display starting the following Thursday afternoon.

Each of Kentucky’s 173 school districts was invited last fall to send one banner produced by students for display in the Galt House East Grand Ballrooms and hallways in the main conference area.

Please remember the following requirements:

· All banners must feature the name of the home district on the front panel. This enables visitors to identify the artists of the district of origin and allows KSBA staff to ensure all banners are accounted for.

· Banners will be hung vertically due to limited space (i.e.: the 45-inch side as the top of the banner). Please do not design your banner to be hung horizontally.

· All banners must depict the conference theme, “Kentucky Public Schools: The Courage To Lead”, to be considered for display. Banners with other themes will not be displayed.

Anyone with questions may contact Mary Davis on the KSBA staff at 800-372-2962 or [email protected].
