Submission

Education Commissioner Terry Holliday, a well-known user of social media including Facebook and Twitter, will be responding to questions from all comers tomorrow (Wednesday) in his latest Twitter Town Hall.

Holliday is invitingteachers, administrators, district staff, parents, students and other education stakeholders to submit questions for the event that will run from 4-5 p.m. ET. Questions can be tweeted both beforehand as well as during the live event.

Use the hash tag #AskDocH to send questions. And remember that when using Twitter, all messages must be no more than 144 characters (letters, numbers, spaces and punctuation).

According to an item in the Department of Education’s Monday Superintendent Email, if you don’t have a Twitter account and would like to sign up for one, visit www.twitter.com. It’s a free service and also offers apps for smartphones if you’d rather follow along off of a traditional computer desktop or laptop.

The Twitter Town Hall also will be webcast live. If you would like to follow the Twitter Town Hall via live webcast, click here.
