KSBA’s annual special education conference will be Aug. 23-24 at the Embassy Suites on Newtown Pike in Lexington. This conference presents the latest legal ramifications and practical guidance to special education directors and others responsible for compliance with special education requirements.
Topics for the conference include:

· Legal requirements
· Update on KDE activity
· The latest from courts, Office of Special Education Programs and Office of Civil Rights
The conference is a must to give your special education administrators the tools they need to properly serve students and keep districts out of legal trouble. This year’s presenters are:
