SLI Call for Presentations deadline is Friday; online registration coming later this month
Education Commissioner Stephen Pruitt will headline the list of speakers for KSBA’s 2017 Summer Leadership Institute July 8-9. But there are still opportunities for others interested in being on the program.
This Friday, May 5, is the deadline for submission of presentation proposals for the conference, which will take place at the Griffin Gate Marriott hotel and convention center on Newtown Pike in Lexington.
A limited number of 75-minute workshops on K-12 education issues will be part of the conference’s Saturday, July 9 schedule. Presentations must target school leadership issues with particular emphasis on the roles, responsibilities and opportunities for board of education members.

Online registration and a deeper look at the conference agenda are expected to be posted on the KSBA website by the end of this month, and will be reviewed in the June edition of the Kentucky School Advocate magazine and in next month’s Boardcast enewsletter.
