Submission

The Kentucky Board of Education is accepting nominations for individuals to serve a term as an at-large representative on the advisory board of the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville.

An at-large member typically represents individuals and or agencies with a vested interest in the education of students who are blind or visually impaired.

The KSB Advisory Board meets three times a year and makes recommendations to the school’s principal for the safe, efficient and successful administration of the school. It includes a parent, a community representative, an alumnus, a school district/education cooperative representative and the at-large representative.

The KBE will fill the at-large representative term this fall, and nominations will be accepted using the attached form through July 15 to Principal Deborah Phillips, Kentucky School for the Blind, 1867 Frankfort Ave., Louisville, KY 40206. Forms also may be faxed to 502-897-2850 or via email to [email protected].
