As kids spend time outside of the classroom this summer, KET and PBS KIDS will release all-new content and resources to help keep them active and encourage exploration at home and outdoors with their favorite characters.

New specials and episodes from Odd Squad, Nature Cat and Ready Jet Go! will air beginning this month:

•One-hour Odd Squad special premieres June 20 at 4:30/3:30 p.m., followed by new episodes throughout the week

•Nature Cat and his pals Daisy, Squeeks and Hal star in a week of brand-new outdoor adventures, airing July 11-15 at 8/7 and 3:30/2:30 pm on KET.

•Jet and his friends blast off on new adventures in new episodes of Ready Jet Go! on August 15-19.

Parents can also access free digital resources at pbsparents.org/summer to make learning fun all summer long.

Additional resources at Camp PBS LearningMedia offer ideas for fun, educational activities to keep kids learning, while PBS Learning Media’s Summer of Reading Collection  features videos, activities and interactive games to help children build vocabulary and reading comprehension while bringing storybook characters to life.

Plus, on July 23, KET invites children ages 2-8 and their families to attend Super Saturday at the KET studios, 600 Cooper Drive in Lexington. The free event allows participants to meet Mr. Steve and other favorite characters from PBS KIDS and explore and learn from many fun and educational booths sponsored by KET’s event partners. Online registration is required here.
