The 2017 KSBA annual conference planning committee is looking for a few good men and women to present during segments of the association’s 81st annual conference Feb. 24-26 in Louisville.

Each year, the KSBA conference draws as many as 1,000 participants to learn from dozens of workshops, clinics and keynote presentations. But the deadline is fast approaching to ask for a spot on the agenda.

The Call for Proposals offers two types of opportunities for presentations: a 75-minute clinic on Friday or Saturday or a three-hour preconference workshop on Friday morning. All presentations should consider school board members are the primary audience, but topical issues can range from effective district operations and innovative classroom programs to leadership initiatives and unique solutions to common challenges for Kentucky’s public schools.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Oct. 28. The proposal forms and guidelines are all available online here.

The process is simple:

Complete and send the attached form to Kerri Schelling, Associate Executive Director/Conference Manager, KSBA, 260 Democrat Drive, Frankfort, KY 40601 or email to [email protected]. If you have questions, please contact Schelling via email or call 800-372-2962.
