KSBA, state energy/environmental agency to host two-day school energy summit in Louisville in May

KSBA and the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet, Department for Energy Development and Independence, are pleased to announce the Inaugural Kentucky School Energy Summit to be held May 9-10 in Louisville.

The tentative agenda consists of 20 breakout sessions covering a wide range of energy management topics along with three general sessions featuring national and state business, governmental and school experts. In addition, there will be two facility tours and a special evening session on performance contracting. Energy efficiency strategies have been successful in Kentucky schools, with over $123 million in cumulative savings in seven years.

Plan now to participate in this learning opportunity and to network with energy professionals and peers.

The final agenda and registration information will be communicated in mid-February.
