Mother Nature has caused the first snow-and-ice-related school cancellations of 2016, and that means superintendents are having to make those oh-so-unpopular, school or no school decisions.
For the third straight year, KSBA has created a special page on our website to allow decision makers to see what their peers in the region and across the state are deciding to do regarding the weather. The page may be bookmarked from here or just go to the homepage at www.ksba.org and check the Important Bookmarks section at the bottom.
This year, we’ve linked to more than 20 regional news media websites that are specifically set up to notify the public about school and other closings due to rough weather. And we welcome any other sites readers know about. Send any suggestions to email@example.com.
