KSBA is seeking applications to fill upcoming vacancies on the Kentucky School Boards Unemployment Program Board of Trustees. Interested school board members, superintendents and school finance officers are invited to submit their name for consideration for a two-year term. Electronic applications can be completed via the form below.
The program provides a service to Association members who elect coverage under Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Law statutes. Trustees participate in quarterly meetings either through in-person or video conference attendance and typical agenda items include:
- Review of financial performance and condition;
- Appointment of outside auditor and review of annual audit report;
- Oversight of investments and investment advisor’s performance/compliance with KSBA’s investment policy; and
- Review and approval of recommended operational procedures and practices.
The Kentucky School Boards Unemployment Program is governed by a board of 10 trustees appointed by the board of the Kentucky School Boards Association.
