Almost there: Most districts respond to request from KSBA for local school board election filing information

Thanks go to the superintendents and their administrative assistants who responded promptly to KSBA’s school board election filing survey. In just 10 business days following the Aug. 12 filing deadline, surveys were returned by 155 districts, helping KSBA identify trends in school board elections and prepare for training events.

This also is a gentle hint to those who have not yet returned the brief form. We realize that the timing is not great, given the flurry of activity at the start of a school year. However, we hope those who haven’t sent back the form can do so this week.

Be watching for the October issue of the Kentucky School Advocate magazine, which will feature a story detailing the facts and figures in the run-up to this year’s school board elections.

If you did not receive a survey form, or if you have questions, please contact Madelynn Coldiron at [email protected] or 800-372-2962, ext. 1222.
