All the coverage of the 2013 KSBA Annual conference – from keynote speakers and clinics to awards and elections – is available in the online March edition of the Kentucky School Advocate here http://www.ksba.org/2013MarchAdvocatehomepage.aspx.
The sole online-only edition each year (produced to allow quick turnaround of conference coverage), this month’s magazine has features on the following elements from the KSBA conference Feb. 22-24 in Louisville:
· All three keynote speakers: Dale Henry (Friday), Wes Moore (Saturday) and Roger Crawford (Sunday)
· Kentucky’s Outstanding Superintendent (Dupree Award), Outstanding School Board Member (Proudfoot Award) and the KSBA Friend of Education honorees
· Remarks by Education Commissioner Terry Holliday and KSBA’s new president, Durward Narramore of Jenkins Independent (along with results of this year’s KSBA Board of Directors election)
· Reports on nine of the conference workshops, including sessions by the Office of the State Auditor on financial oversight and Kentucky’s new kindergarten screening and teacher/principal evaluation programs.
And we’ve thrown in a photo essay of images from this year’s annual conference.
