KSBA honors four districts for their total communications programs with 2015 OASIS Sweepstakes awards

KSBA recently recognized the communications personnel of four districts as part of the 2015 OASIS (Outstanding Achievement in School Information Services) Professional Development program.

During the annual conference of the Kentucky School Public Relations Association, KSBA Executive Director Mike Armstrong and Member Support/Communications Director Brad Hughes presented special engraved plaques to representatives of the Bowling Green Independent, Jefferson County, Knox County and Oldham County school systems. The awards will be re-presented at local board meetings of the honored districts in November and December.

The KSBA Sweepstakes Awards are based on the total scores of all of the entries submitted by the districts in the annual OASIS program. One award is made for each of four classes based on the districts’ student enrollment. Entries are judged by two-person teams of education communication professionals in Kentucky and nine other states.
