KSBA's 2026 webinar series offers school board members convenient opportunities each month to earn state-mandated training in timely topics. Information is presented through the lens of school board service, although all are welcome to participate; superintendents, administrators, school board attorneys, school finance professionals, other education leaders, advocates, etc. A summary of the webinar schedule can be found below.
Most webinars offered throughout the year are 60 minutes in length. All webinars are on Eastern Time. Start times of the webinars vary to help accommodate a wide range of schedules.
Each webinar is available at a cost of $75 per session and KSBA’s convenient online registration form allows you to register for multiple webinars at a time if you choose.
Pre-registration is required and the fee must be paid with a credit card at the time of registration. Registrations are non-refundable; however, if a registrant is unable to participate in the live webinar, a recorded version of the webinar will be made available to all registrants approximately 1-2 weeks following the live event. School board members may still earn credit towards their state-mandated training by watching the recording of the webinar after the fact as a self-study credit.
Pre-registration for each webinar will likely close approximately 90 minutes before the scheduled start of the webinar.
In addition to the scheduled webinars listed below, KSBA offers a limited number of free webinars, self-studies and occasional book studies. Visit KSBA’s free learning opportunities page for more information.

It’s not just the decisions you make as school board members that impact your district; how you do your job also influences the success of your school system. The image you project depends largely on how the governing body – your school board – conducts its public business. Do you inspire your community, or do you provide regular examples of dysfunction? Being a public official is not easy; often thankless. But we can make the experience better by adopting productive habits and focusing on becoming a healthy team.
