Winter Symposium

KSBA’s Winter Symposium serves as the final in-person training event for school board members to earn their annual state-mandated training credits. Board members and superintendents from across the state gather for two days of learning, networking and inspiration.

The 2026 Winter Symposium will be held Dec. 4-5 at the Louisville Marriott Downtown. Registration will open this fall.

KSBA's Winter Symposium will feature a trade show. Sponsorship opportunities will be available at approximately 10 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, Sept. 29. A link with sponsorship opportunities will be added to this page at that time. Conference sponsorships offer several benefits, including increased exposure for your organization and priority registration for Trade Show booths. (Note: Sponsorships do not include the booth cost unless noted.)

Exhibitor booths at Winter Symposium are $650. Winter Symposium sponsorships include priority registration* for exhibitor booths but do not include exhibitor booth discounts unless stated.

Winter Symposium priority registration for KSBA Affiliate Members and Conference Sponsors will be held in October, with Priority Registration Window 3 beginning at 10 a.m. (ET) on Thursday, Oct. 8 and Window 4 beginning at 10 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, Oct. 13. General registration for remaining Trade Show booths, if any remain available, will begin at 10 a.m. (ET) on Thursday, Oct 15. A registration link will be added to the this webpage at that time if booths remain. (Note: A link will not be sent out via email if booths remain for general exhibitor registration.) Please note that there are a limited number of booths available for Winter Symposium and booths may sell out during Priority Registration. If booths sell out during priority registration, a note will be added to KSBA's Winter Symposium website.

The Winter Symposium trade show will be open from approximately 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (ET) on Friday, Dec. 4, and from approximately 7:30 - 10 a.m. (ET) on Saturday, Dec. 5. Exhibitors will be able to set up booths the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 3. Set up times and more information on exhibit hours will be communicated to exhibitors prior to the conference.
