PEAK Award (Public Education Achieves in Kentucky)
The KSBA PEAK Award was established in 1997 to focus statewide attention on outstanding public school efforts aimed specifically at enhancing student learning skills and, in doing so, to promote the positive impact of public elementary and secondary education in this Commonwealth.
KSBA accepts nominations from Kentucky's public school systems twice a year, recognizing one outstanding program in the fall and in the spring.
School Board Member of the Year Award
The KSBA School Board Member of the Year (BMOY) Award was established in 2021 to honor the exemplary service of association members and to celebrate the critical roles school boards play in the advancement of public education in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. BMOY honorees are those who have made significant contributions to public education through service on their local boards.
Online nominations are accepted in the fall and the winner will be recognized at KSBA’s Annual Conference.
