KSBA's 2025 Annual Conference will be held Feb. 21-23 at the Galt House in Louisville. Registration is now open!

KSBA's Annual Conference attracts more than 1,000 participants - school board members, superintendents, administrators, presenters and exhibitors - for a weekend of learning and networking. The event represents one of the largest annual education gatherings in Kentucky, and is the state's largest gathering of elected officials, providing school board members ample opportunity to earn state-mandated training.

Hotel information

KSBA once again has a limited block of reduced-rate hotel rooms at the Galt House for the nights of conference. Rooms are $155 (plus taxes/fees) for the West Tower and $179 (plus taxes/fees) for the East Tower. The deadline to make hotel reservations through KSBA's block of rooms is Tuesday, Jan. 28 (or until the block sells out). The hotel link to reserve special rate rooms will be included exclusively in your event registration confirmation email, so register now!

Student involvement at KSBA's Annual Conference

Student involvement is at the heart of what makes KSBA’s Annual Conference so special each and every year, and the tradition will once again be a centerpiece of the association’s 2025 conference, Feb. 21-23, 2025, in Louisville. KSBA once again invites each school district to submit student-designed banner artwork for display at the event and in conference materials. The banners are a very important contribution to the conference, as they serve as reminders to attendees of their primary focus – students. Banner artwork, submitted electronically, is also designed to commemorate the annual theme – "Public Education: Road to Greatness." Click here to access banner criteria and instructions. Banner artwork must be submitted no later than Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, to guarantee inclusion in conference displays, the commemorative book, on social media, etc. Last year, KSBA received banner artwork from 122 districts, and we hope to receive even more this year!

KSBA Awards presentations, scholarships and grants recognition

During Annual Conference, KSBA will present the Board Member of the Year Award. The KOSAA KUP award will be presented during the Annual KOSAA Meeting held in conjunction with Annual Conference.
