Please share why you decided to run for your local school board.
My inspiration to step up to assist every child. I want them to understand, there is always different options and choices, because we are all different. If I can help one student along the way, my work is not in vain. Each one, reach one, teach one.

What is your favorite thing about serving on your local board?    
Serving with my heart 

What activities do you enjoy doing outside your board work?     
Adult coloring, solitaire, teaching Sunday School. Winery taste testing. Zumba classes.

Name someone in your life you admire, or who inspired or helped you along the way.    
Lillian Goatley and Shirley Duncan both deceased. I believe I am because of them.

Please share something about yourself that most people may not know. 
First African American chair person on the Eminence School Board. First African American from Kentucky to serve on the National School Board Committee.
