Newport Independent receives PEAK Award

Representatives from the Kentucky School Boards Association presented Newport Independent Schools with the 2018 Spring PEAK Award during a ceremony at the school. The district won the award for its Home Visit Program, in which the district’s teachers and staff visit all students at their home before the school year starts.
