Sessions at our conferences are generally 75-minutes in length although there is some availability for 3-hour sessions.
The purpose of sessions are for presenters to share their experiences, information, knowledge or research about successful programs in their district or topics of critical importance to board members and education leaders. We ask that presenters prepare to entertain some audience questions (time permitting).
Selected presenters will provide services in a volunteer capacity and are responsible for providing presentation materials. KSBA reserves the right to review presentation materials ahead of the session to ensure they meet criteria.
Please review
a list of course topics that will be presented at each of our upcoming 2024 events before submitting a session proposal as some proposals submitted may fall into one of the topics for the event/conference; however, proposals may be submitted that are general elective in nature. We welcome
all proposals for training sessions to be submitted, and there is usually room in our schedule to accommodate some general elective credit training sessions for our members. All proposals will be reviewed for content and purpose and will be utilized at the discretion of our staff based on space within the schedule.
Sessions offered at KSBA conferences and events are subject to change. In the event of an unforeseen cancellation or change, KSBA will provide updated information to conference/event participants as soon as possible.
