2019 Golf Scramble
Sunny skies and low humidity provided the perfect setting for the 2nd Annual KSBA Golf Scramble on Sept. 20, 2019. Sixteen teams teed off at Old Bridge Golf Club in Danville. School board members, administrators and community partners enjoyed 18 holes, lunch, prizes and a day of networking and fun. By the time the final putt had been sunk, more than $5,500 had been raised for the First Degree Scholarship program. KSBA is grateful to players, sponsors, volunteers and staff who helped to make this year’s outing so successful.

Proceeds from the annual scramble support the First Degree Scholarship program, awarding aid to Kentucky public high school seniors who will be the first in their immediate families to pursue a postsecondary degree.
2019 Kentucky Gives Day
Our first ever Kentucky Gives Day (May 14, 2019) campaign exceeded expectations. Thanks to the generosity of current and former school board members, superintendents, education leaders, and friends, the KSBA Educational Foundation, Inc. raised $5,335 for the First Degree Scholarship fund. That is the equivalent of two scholarships. This means that, during the following school year, two additional Kentucky high school seniors will graduate knowing they each have the chance to be the first in their immediate family to receive a postsecondary degree.
