National Rural Education Association annual conference and research event coming to Cincinnati this October

Submission

The National Rural Education Association (NREA) will conduct its 104th convention and research symposium will be at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Oct. 12-14.

NREA was originally founded as the U.S. Department of Rural Education in 1907. Today, it is the oldest established national organization of its kind in the United States.

Through the years it has evolved as a strong and respected organization of rural school administrators, teachers, school board members, regional service agency personnel, researchers, business and industry representatives, and others interested in maintaining the vitality of rural school systems across the country.

Conference attendees will learn what's happening in Washington, D.C. that is impacting rural schools, have opportunities to network with other rural educators from across the country and meet vendors who can help rural schools and communities.

Early registration and more information on the conference is available online here http://www.nrea.net/index.cfm?pID=3056.
