KYPTA conference coming in July; details in the latest newsletter plus proposed bylaws change information

The Kentucky PTA conference will be July 14–15 in Louisville. Details, registration and grant information are available in the latest edition of the KYPTA Bulletin (attached).
Among the items in this edition of the Bulletin are:
• A column by Kentucky Education Commissioner Stephen Pruitt on the state’s new law to establish charter schools.
• Information on nominees for association leadership positions and the election process that will take place at the July conference.
• A look at association bylaws amendments to be voted on at this year’s convention.
• And a roundup of honors handed out at the KYPTA Student Recognition Awards Ceremony conducted last month in Lexington.
