Girls' Tennis Defeats Bishop Ready

HTHS girls' tennis defeated Bishop Ready this evening, 4-1. Wins came from junior Madison Barney at second singles 6-0, 6-1, senior Lexi Bostic at third singles 6-0, 6-0, sophomores Stefani Dillon and Emily McCarty at first doubles 6-1, 6-0 and from senior Hannah Watkins and sophomore Susami Seth at second doubles 6-0, 6-2.  The Lady Rangers celebrated senior night as well as this concludes their regular season. 

The team finished 8-7 overall on the season.  Both doubles teams, Dillon/McCarty and Watkins/Seth finished 8-7.  At second and third singles respectively, Barney and Bostic finished 10-5 on the season. Bostic received 2nd team MSL honors and Barney received honorable mention MSL honors.  The Lady Rangers will finish their season next Thursday, October 6th by competing in the sectional tournament at Pickerington Central H.S.
