KSBA held its Winter Symposium Dec. 9-10 in Louisville. It was the first opportunity for the state's newly elected board members to attend a KSBA event and earn state-mandated training hours. The new class of board members commemorated the weekend with a group photo.
During the conference's Friday lunch session, keynote speakers Jim Flynn (left) and Greg Coker (below) shared best practices for building a cohesive school board team.
The conference featured 35 breakout sessions and 29 trade show exhibitors, giving members plenty of opportunity to learn and network.
