KSBA’s 2023 Summer Leadership Institute and KOSAA Summer Conference brought together more than 300 education leaders and nearly 100 school districts for a weekend of training, networking and collegiality. Saturday’s keynote speaker and former Fayette County school board member Daryl Love (top left) helped board members learn how to lead in unsteady times and Friday’s keynote speaker Tim Weisheyer (middle left), former Florida School Boards Association president, inspired board members to become mission-focused leaders. Schoolhouse Rock’s Mr. Bill made an appearance during the policy update at KOSAA’s meeting. During the two-day conference board members also visited with exhibitors and earned state-mandated training credit.
